What is the Duck Splash?

The Kiwanis Incredible Duck Splash (acronym "KIDS") is produced by the Kiwanis Club of Glendale. The event is most often called a "Duck Race" by the more than 200 event producers around the world. From 5,000 to 100,000 or more yellow rubber ducks "race" to a finish line to earn great prizes for their "adoptive" owners, matched by a unique number on a tag on the bottom of each duck. The beneficiaries of the charitable fundraising event are primarily children and youth in Glendale and neighboring cities throughout Los Angeles County.
